Welcome, 2006!
It is in the nature of a new year to offer transformation ... and it seems a part of our nature (the better part?) to not be able to refuse this offer. We will ride the roller coaster of 2006 up and down, through trial and triumph – with the goal of finishing better than we began.
For those of you who ended 2005 on a low note, take heart; there's plenty of room at the top for you if you choose to move in that direction. If you ended 2005 as the Master of All You Survey, take full measure of that success and may it continue to go well for you. Have a care to look inward for a different kind of success.
This site is changing also. More installments of “No Such Thing As An Ugly Dancer – A Memoir of Body Image and Belly Dancing” are on their way, as are the new “Letters to Hannah” and other essays/comments/meanderings under the umbrella of my new blog, In the Spirit of Being. Launch is imminent, so I hope you'll check back soon to read and offer your own comments on the message board.
